The Kalgoorlie Desert Race brings together participants from both the motorcycling and four-wheeled off-road racing world, as man and machine face the ultimate test of endurance against the untamed wild.
Kalgoorlie’s red sandy tracks and loamy bush offers competitors the perfect terrain, while the close proximity of the course to the Kalgoorlie town centre allows easy access for both local and non-local spectators.
This, the third year of the Kalgoorlie Desert Race, sees the track settling into its own unique groove and flow; which is gaining much praise and excitement from the ever-increasing field of competitors.
The approximately 130-kilometre course offers a wide variety of terrains, flat dead flat salt lakes through to sandy wooded sections and a range of well-formed berms to really rail though. the Kalgoorlie Desert Race has something that every competitor and spectator will enjoy.
