Black Swan State Theatre Company Workshop @ Stage Left: Production 101

Description

Stage Left Theatre Troupe in collaboration with the Black Swan State Theatre Company and supported by Regional Arts WA is proud to present a series of 4 workshops in 2021.

These workshops are being hosted at the Stage Left Theatre in Boulder and run by professional, trained and qualified instructors from the Black Swan State Theatre Company.

Production 101 is strongly recommended for those who wish to develop a deeper understanding of theatre and theatre based productions.  Although targeted at theatre productions the principles could also be applied to anyone organising events.

In this workshop you will learn

• the nuts and bolts of producing a theatre production
• how to select works which speak to your community and target audience
• building a creative team utilising the skills of your organisation or group
• how to plan a production
• how to budget a production
• how to market a production

Price:

• $50 for Production 101
• $75 for Production 101 & Old Stories Re-imagined (workshop 2, same weekend)

Price includes light lunch.
