Description
The final destination for the water travelling through the 550km Goldfields Water Supply Scheme pipeline is the Mount Charlotte Reservoir.
You can walk to the top of the lookout and be rewarded with spectacular views of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, and learn all about CY O’Connor, the man who engineered the pipeline which was built in 1903 and is still used to this day.
For budding or professional photographers, the spot is perfect to grab a sunset or sunrise shot encompassing the region’s golden outback glow.
