The Fitzgerald River National Park has 330,00 hectares of spectacular pristine wilderness with immense natural diversity.
International recognition of its importance was given in 2017, when UNESCO approved the park as a Biosphere Reserve, ensuring that its management of flora and fauna would be secured.
Although the central wilderness area is only accessible by foot, there are many kilometres of two-wheel drive tracks and viewing points throughout the park.
Pick up brochures and information from the Ravensthorpe Tourist Office, the Fitzgerald Coast Tourism Association or the Parks and Wildlife Service website.
