The Warburton Arts Project is housed at the Tjulyuru Cultural Center in Warburton. It provides the most substantial collection of Aboriginal art in the country under the direct ownership and control of Aboriginal people.
This gallery proudly presents local art for a wide variety of international visitors who get a rare and valuable insight into the people and culture of inland Australia.
Since 1989, Warburton Arts have developed many projects including development of a community art glass facility.
A visit to this gallery is a must when touring through central Australia along the Great Central Highway.
We made all of this work together – paintings and different things. This comes from our stories, our dreamtime stories. We are happy for you people from all over different places to look and think about the work we have done. You see, these things were made by us.
