The Royal Flying Doctor Visitor Centre in Kalgoorlie provides a unique opportunity to experience, firsthand, the renowned work of Australia’s flying doctors, nurses and pilots at a busy RFDS regional base.
The Royal Flying Doctor Service is the oldest, largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisation on the planet. Annually across WA, the RFDS touches the lives of over 70,000 people who live work and travel across this vast state.
The centre is open Monday to Friday from 10 am-3 pm with guided tours at 10.15 am – (and during the high season May-October also at 2 pm).
Entry to the centre is free, guided tours cost $15 Adults, $8 Children over 12.
The tour duration is 1 hour and includes a viewing of one of our state of the art Pilatus PC-12 aeromedical aircraft.
Discounted rates apply if our planes are out saving lives and not available to view during the tour.
