The 2016 painting ‘Places Around Esperance’ by Esperance Nyungar Artist, Gail Yorkshire-Selby is located at the Esperance Hospital.
Commissioned by the Goldfields Health Service as part of the $31.3 million redevelopment of Esperance hospital, Gail was one of four Indigenous artists from the Esperance area whose work, inspired by wellbeing and healthy eating, formed part of this commission.
Perth artist Tony Pankiw used an element of each painting to incorporate into a series of vinyl installations laid on the floor of each department.
This painting is located on the inside of the hospital in the public area.
This is site 86c on the Esperance Arts and Culture Trail map.
