Explore the history of Dundas via the Old Coach Road – Norseman Heritage Trail.
Drive the original dirt road formed by the horse-drawn coaches that allowed access to the former Dundas town site and Norseman.
Discover what once was, with ten (10) interpretive sites, all with different stories to tell. Points of interest include ancient rock formations including Dundas Rocks, the Lone Grave of 7-month old, Stanley Whitehead, as well as the original Dundas settlement and its remains.
Enjoy the information boards at each site, and a walking trail at site 7, as you drive through this piece of history.The trail is best suited for 4WD vehicles and spreads 25km beginning in Norseman and ending on the Coolgardie-Esperance highway.
