Description

On ANZAC Day 2005, the ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) Memorial was erected with support from the local community.

The memorial is inscribed ‘Lest We Forget Leonora and District areas who enlisted in the Australian Armed Forces to defend our freedom.’ It’s surrounded by lush green grass and a beautiful rose garden.

This original Shire office (Local Government building) once stood on this site.
