This is one of the most extraordinary sites you will ever see.
Lake Hillier is a saline lake on the edge of Middle Island, the largest of the islands and islets that make up the Recherche Archipelago in the Goldfields-Esperance region, off the south coast of Western Australia.
It is particularly notable for its pink colour. This pink bubble gum coloured lake is an A-class Nature Reserve with extremely high environmental protection protocols and is situated in a very remote location which is difficult to access.
There are scenic flights and boat charter services that visit Lake Hillier.
