Dunn's Swamp and Dunn Cottage
Credit: Dene Bingham

Description

Initially built in 1877 by the original settlers the Dunn Brothers, parts of the old cottage remain today!

Located near the now mostly dried lake, this used to be the site of freshwater that refilled the boilers of locomotives travelling between Ravensthorpe and Hopetoun.

Visitors can take in the highly diverse ecosystems surrounded by paperbark trees while enjoying a picnic, birdwatching or bushwalk.
