When travelling in Western Australia you can tick some things off your bucket list without even trying, and the 90 mile straight is one of them.
As you travel between Balladonia and Caiguna or Caiguna and Balladonia, you will be crossing Australia’s longest straight road.
No turns and bends, this 146.6km stretch of road is signposted to show the beginning of the Straight, but you need to set your odometer as there is no signage to mark the end.
Stop and take your photo under the sign and look for other photo opportunities when it looks like you are on the road to nowhere.
